I feel so green to Instagram still! Since I was literally the last one in my college class to get an iPhone. Every one of my friends kept asking me, “are you on Instagram?” and sheepishly I would show them my old ass phone with a sliding keyboard and touch screen. Flash forward a few years, my college professor made everyone get Twitter, since this is the direction journalism is going (bye bye print) so, I had to get on the Instagram!
Samii Ryan
One of my good friends at H&M where I worked for so long during my academic years pointed me out to a super cute badass named Samii Ryan. In high school she designed and sold jewelry, which has been featured in Nylon shop (obviously RIP), Cosmo girl and Nordstroms. I also think her hair style and evolution is killer. She once had this boho look with long wavy hair, and then buzzed it to a side shave. Just like what I had done. To this day, she’s still designing and selling her jewelry online AND a more recently her clothing line in select Zumiez stores and online. Her and her man both travel and blog on himhertravel.com

Hanna Beth
I discovered Hanna Beth around the same time i discovered Samii Ryan because they both rolled with the influencer cohort from Buzznet. She had a fragile Edie Sedgwick style to her and also a rocker vibe that I absolutely love. Her style is highly influenced by British punk and glam rock as you will see from her Sherman Oaks apartment tour on her YouTube. She also rolls with the Dolls Kill model crew.

Alysha Nett
This girl! I can’t get enough of her tattoos! There are so well done: one whole arm is all in color and dedicated to childhood nostalgia including: NES, My Little Pony, Barbie, Mickey Mouse, Push Pops and the old Disney castle logo. All of her other ones are so well done. I even have a picture of her Inked cover framed in our apartment. She really is the cool small town Kansas girl. I follow her YouTube channel for inspiration on travel vlogging and one of my favorites is her workout tips while playing Pokemon GO. Freaking life-hack is you ask me.

Brin Amberlee
This girl I discovered while surfing the Corduroy’s Instagram feed (a new 70s inspired bar downtown Las Vegas) and saw this stylish chick in the light room. I quickly became enamored by her look and her very prominent voice in being plant based. Not in a preachy way, but she stands ground on this choice. She is a edgy and is consistently posting recipes and stories on vegan places in and around Vegas. Oh, and I immedietely went and bought the holiest pair of jeans. Jumpin’ in on that homeless-chic-90s look!

Renee Young (duh!)
Of course, WWE’s most stylish host, Renee Young (Paquette) She always looks killer for pay per views and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have a stylist so, this is purely organic styling at its best. She always discusses her shopping choices for pay per views on the Regular Girls podcast, music she’s listening to on her own #VinyFriday and random shit like conspiracy theories. Zara-fanatic and professional vintage T-shirt collector, Renee Young is a regular cool girl I want to run into one day.
